Female stabbed to death at home in Lenasia

A gruesome murder occurred in Lenasia last night (Sunday, 11th October) at 22:15. 
Lenasia SAPS PRO Sergeant Bafana Ndimande said: “It is alleged that a 37-year-old Indian female was found lying on the bedroom floor in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds at 101 Hummingbird Street, Lenasia, Extension 1. 
“The victim was certified dead by the paramedics at the crime scene. The motive of the murder is unknown at this stage. 
“We request the community to assist us with our investigation to arrest the criminals. The community is further requested to call our Crime Stop (08600 10111) or Lenasia Police Station at (011) 213-6000 or free from the cellphone at 112.”
