Spoiled Rotten DJ Crew started in 1994 when a group of friends who shared a love for music had the intention to stay off the streets and away from gangs and drugs. The past time quickly developed into a business as the bond grew into a brotherhood. Spoiled Rotten DJ Crew grew rapidly when they realized the potential in the community. They began to recruit like-minded and talented teenagers with the intention to keep them off the streets. Talent, hard work, dedication to their craft as well as innovative thinking quickly made this DJ Crew one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry in the south of Johannesburg. 25 years later and Spoiled Rotten DJ Crew are still entertaining, innovating and enjoying the reason this crew started.... the music.

The event was held on the 26th October at the Nirvana School Hall, 26 amateur DJs submitted their entries online of which 11 were shortlisted to the Semi Finals (held on the 12th of October at Jiss Lenasia) & the top 5 progressed to the finals.
