Lucy marks 50

Popular Lenasia and social media personality Pandita Lucy Sigaban celebrated her 50th birthday in a unique way at the ISKCON Lenasia Mandir on 12 January.
Scores of friends from all communities joined the event alongside a host of dignitaries from all walks of life, all of whom commended Sigaban for her approach in not only undertaking Hindu religious rituals not only free of charge, but also providing the necessary items sometimes for indigent families.
Sigaban was also lauded for her involvement in a wide range of community and social welfare organisations, assisting people irrespective of religious, cultural or other affiliations.
Before she cut a cake specially designed to include Hanuman, the deity she adores, Sigaban lauded her two sons, Nitai and especially Goura, for taking special care of her when she went through some serious health challenges in the past two years.
