According to Lenasia SAPS acting PRO Sergeant Bafana Ndimande: “The police received a complaint of a dead body at an open veld behind Lawley Station Settlement.
“On arrival the police found an unknown African male about 50-years-old dead. The victim was shot twice, on the head and left shoulder. The victim was further stabbed on the lower back. The motive of the murder is unknown and the victim was certified dead by the paramedics at the crime scene.
“We request the community to assist us with our investigation to arrest the criminals. The community may call our Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or Lenasia Police Station at (011) 213-6000 or free from the cellphone at 112.”
